THERAPY

Child & Adolescent Therapy

Evidence-based therapy that helps your child build real-world strategies for managing emotions, behaviour, and social challenges.

EVIDENCE-BASED SUPPORT

Therapy That Makes a Difference

We provide individual therapy for children and teenagers aged 4–18. Our goal is to help your child build practical skills they can use at home, at school, and with friends — not just in our office.
We involve parents throughout the process, providing strategies you can implement between sessions. Because real change happens in daily life.

OUR THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

How We Work

We identify your child’s unique profile and provide clear recommendations for support.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Helps children understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Effective for anxiety, worry, and mood difficulties.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Builds psychological flexibility — particularly effective for teenagers learning to manage difficult thoughts and emotions.

Parent Involvement

You’ll receive regular updates and strategies to use at home. We work as a team because change happens in daily life, not just in sessions.

Developmental Approach

We tailor everything to your child’s age — play-based techniques for younger children, talk-based therapy for adolescents.
